LEAVE POLICY TYPE
Annual Leave
You are entitled to 10 days per year. Rules: Must have at least 12 months of service and work at least 20 days per month. This leave can be taken consecutively or in installments. Unused leave can be accumulated for up to 3 years.
Casual Leave
You are entitled to 6 days per year. You can only take a maximum of 3 consecutive days at a time. You cannot combine this with other leave, and any unused days cannot be carried over to the next year. (You will lose them at the end of the year.
Medical Leave
Maximum of 30 days per year. Requirements: Minimum 6 months of service and doctor's note required. Medical leave can be taken in conjunction with earned leave or maternity leave. Unused days cannot be carried over to the next year.
Maternity Leave
Female employees are entitled to 14 weeks. If you have twins, you will receive an additional 4 weeks (18 weeks in total). If you have a miscarriage, you can receive a maximum of 6 weeks.
Paternity Leave
Male employees are entitled to 15 days after the birth of a child.
Funeral Leave
If a parent or family member dies, they will be entitled to leave without deduction of wages in accordance with the law. Even if the specified leave days have expired, unpaid leave may also be granted by mutual agreement between the employer and the employee.
